I put it all in one chart for your information. This may help in deciding on what motor to use. I used a "target" engine of 38" drivers and a 20 mph top speed at 12 volts. Hopefully, the chart will come through well. It looks good on my browser (Netscape 3). I'm told, but don't have confirmed, that the typical engine has a 14:1 to 18:1 drive ratio. For an example to use this, say you have bought that NWSL 50:1 gearbox. A Sagami 123039 needs a 72.1:1 final drive for 20 mph max. The 50:1 will give (72.1/50) x 20 mph, of about 28 mph max speed on 38" drivers. I think this all works out. If anybody finds that I've goofed, then let me know. Mike
